Russian Standard Vodka Names Winner of ‘Incredible Pursuits’ Contest

Program Celebrates Passion & Authenticity in Business Leadership

Russian Standard Vodka, the world’s #1 premium Russian vodka, announces Amanda Curtis as the winner of the inaugural ‘Incredible Pursuits’ competition (http://russianstandardpursuits.com). Amanda is the CEO and Co-Founder of 19th Amendment, a fashion site poised to change the fashion landscape by offering emerging talent an easy & innovative way to bring their visions to life.

The nationwide search was designed to reward individuals exemplifying an un-wavering desire to provide the highest level of excellence, in their respective fields, no matter what the challenges or the costs may be. Enterprising talent entered the contest with the hope of furthering their business endeavors via prizes including a $10,000 financial reward and personal mentoring sessions with industry leaders.  The winner will also be featured in regional magazines and will be celebrated at an exclusive party in Miami on December 11th.

“Our brand is a terrific success story in the vodka category because our passion for creating the most incredible spirit is what drives us—not market trends, the competition or commercialization.  We do not compromise on quality—no matter what,” stated Leonid Yangarber, CEO of Russian Standard Vodka.  “Our aim with this competition is to recognize and support innovators who, like us, are relentlessly dedicated to achieving a higher standard.”

19th Amendment, http://www.19thamendment.co is a fashion site with an interactive crowdfunding portfolio tool for designers to showcase, receive feedback on, and sell their designs directly to consumers. Prior to starting 19th Amendment, Curtis worked as a designer for many notable fashion houses and as a celebrity stylist.  Curtis’ true passion, however, is advancing the fashion industry as a whole, by injecting it with technological innovation.  It is her dedication to fulfilling this dream that will turn countless hopefuls into working fashion designers.  Russian Standard Vodka is helping Curtis reach her goal of launching the careers of 730 designers and increasing U.S. fashion manufacturing in the next year.

“Winning this competition reinforces my belief that passion and dedication to a craft are key ingredients in delivering something that is truly incredible.  Russian Standard Vodka shares this philosophy and is helping me to bring my incredible pursuit to life,” stated Curtis.

The top five finalists of the Incredible Pursuits competition also include: Melissa Pam Rodriguez, a swimwear designer from Miami, Florida; Thuan Ho, a California based videogame developer, Arber Ruci from New York, who developed a global campus communication platform, and Angela Giovine from Philadelphia who launched a highly localized digital media group.
