PUSH Nightclub: Making Tunica a Nightclub Destination to Rival Miami, Vegas, NYC
On Saturday, October 3, Brooke Hogan hosted the Grand Opening party of PUSH, The Nightclub at the Horseshoe Casino and Hotel, in Tunica, MS, with Benji and Joel Madden from the band Good Charlotte who performed a DJ set. PUSH’s website states that its intention is to bring to the small Mississippi town the grandeur and flash that are often associated with the big metropolitan nightclub attractions in Miami, Las Vegas and New York. “Nationally known DJs will master their mixes using one of the most sophisticated sound and lighting systems in the country. As the night heats up PUSH dancers set the pace and the crowd connects. Satisfy your visual appetite when you make eye contact with the DJ or the hottie across the room.”
The Horseshoe Hotel and Casino debuted its new nightclub over this past Labor Day weekend with celebrity DJs Samantha Ronson, DJ Skribble, and special guest, DJ Flip. Ronson and Skribble, although playing on different nights, kept in touch with each other and fans via Twitter over the long holiday weekend.
While dining in Jack Binion’s Steak House inside Horseshoe Casino Ronson tweeted a photo of her smoking cigarette in an ashtray on the dinner table saying,”I heart tunica, ms. I’m not even breaking the law!” She went on to wow the opening night crowd inside PUSH with
her music mixing talent. She even catered to guests by working in some of Memphis’ own STAX music along with Detroit’s Motown and other soul music.
After arriving in Tunica, Skribble called in to talk to local radio DJ Jus Born on KXHT, HOT 107 FM to promote the show at PUSH and his new album. Skribble had dinner at Jack Binion’s Steak House as well, then went on to “put it down,” as one Facebook fan commented, on Saturday and Sunday where he had the crowds dancing and sweating regardless of the cool interior and atmosphere at the new nightclub.
PUSH is offering a complimentary park and ride shuttle for the convenience of its guests, and is complete with a dress code and VIP table service options.
