According to Drink Business Review, Perrier-Jouet, an Epernay-based producer of Champagne famous for its Cuvee Belle Epoque and the flower bottle champagne, has launched Bi-Centenaire, a living legacy champagne designed for future generations.

The company noted that current Cellar master Herve Deschamps has carefully chosen the vintage for its exceptional ageing capacity. Deschamps is the only seventh cellar master in their 200-year history.

Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouet Chairman and CEO Lionel Breton, said that the company is very proud to celebrate the bicentenary of Perrier-Jouet with this unique champagne experience as a real tribute to the house’s remarkable craftsmanship and passion for passing on a sense of French art de vivre to future generations.

There are only 100 bottles of Perrier-Jouet Bi-Centenaire available at the Champagne House’s Boutique in Epernay and by appointment only. It is also available through the exclusive Pernod Ricard network for EUR 10,000.
