Pernod Ricard Wins Big at World Spirits Competition

Pernod Ricard USA is proud to be honored as the 2011 recipient of the Directors Award for Excellence in Consistence of Quality by the founders and judges of the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. In addition to this honor, eleven of Pernod Ricard’s premium brands were awarded top in class, Double Gold Medals, in their respective categories.

Pernod Ricard’s Irish portfolio including Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve, Powers 12 Year Old, Redbreast 12 Year Old and Redbreast 15 year Old, once again lead the way claiming four Double Gold Medals at the competition.

Other spirits by Pernod Ricard that received Double Gold Awards were ABSOLUT Ruby Red, Martell XO Cognac, Chivas Regal 25 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky, and single malt Scotch whiskies-Aberlour 16 Year Old, Aberlour 18 Year Old, The Glenlivet 16 Year Old Nadurra and The Glenlivet 18 Year Old-took home Double Gold Awards reinforcing Pernod Ricard’s commitment to bringing brands of outstanding quality and integrity to market.
