Pernod Ricard USA’s BarSmarts LIVE in San Francisco and Los Angeles
On October 13 & 15, Pernod Ricard USA’s highly regarded BarSmarts Bartender Training Program – San Francisco & Los Angeles series respectively – culminated with BarSmarts LIVE — a full day program of instruction, education, mixology, testing, and formal certification for the programs top performers.
Local bartender talent including Eric Alprin 
from Varnish in LA and Carlos Yturri from Absinthe in SF were enlisted to help assist the BAR LLC team test the record gathering of bartending enthusiasts who participated to earn their coveted BarSmarts certification (104 in SF and 144 in LA).
The BarSmarts LIVE events were held at the JW Marriott Hotel in San Francisco and Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles. Both events were hosted by the esteemed BAR, LLC partners who include: Dale DeGroff, Steve Olson, Doug Frost, F. Paul Pacult, Andy Seymour and David Wondrich.
BarSmarts and BarSmarts LIVE will also run in New York on November 3 and Las Vegas on December 9.
