Pacifico Beer Host Smallest Toast in US

Pacifico Beer to Host “Smallest” Toast in Bars throughout the U.S.

Pacifico beer, an authentic pilsner-style beer from Mexico, is celebrating the launch of their new 7 oz. beer by holding the World’s “Smallest” Toast at bars across the country. The new 7 oz. bottle is now available in select west coast states including California, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Louisiana and Texas, and this month patrons at bars in each of those states will raise the 7 oz. bottle to toast the launch. pacifico1.jpg

The Pacifico 7 oz. is a smaller version of the traditional 12 oz. bottle, and its smaller size makes it ideal for ordering in buckets, keeping beer cold longer and bringing to parties and luaus. The beer is launching in west coast markets, where the beer was first introduced from California surfers bringing it back from surf trips in Baja California, Mexico.

This line extension is in response to Pacifico’s performance over the past several years and the popularity of the 7 oz. package for Crown Imports, Pacifico’s exclusive U.S. importer. In 2008, Pacifico delivered positive results in a challenging environment, with Pacifico up 0.3% and +11% CAGR over the last 10 years.

All bars hosting the toast will offer the new beer on special, with giveaways and a chance to be featured on the Pacifico web site. The World’s “Smallest” Toast with the 7 oz. will take place this month at bars receiving the beer. Cities participating in this toast include: San Diego, CA; Santa Rosa, NC; Baton Rouge, LA; Boise, ID; Seattle, WA; Dallas TX; Las Vegas, NV; Reno, NV.
