According to Drink Business Review, Pabst Brewing Company, an Illinois-based brewer, has launched a fruit-flavored Ultimate Cocktail called Blast, in addition to the company’s Colt 45 malt liquor brand family. The company as also named rapper and actor Snoop Dogg as the brand ambassador.
The new Blast is made with fruit juice and comes in strawberry watermelon, raspberry lemonade, blueberry pomegranate, and grape. Blast is available in 23.5 oz cans as well as a 7 oz bottle, ideal size for mixing with a non-alcoholic beverage.
For many years, Billy Dee Williams has been the brand ambassador for the Colt 45 brand and now Snoop Dogg brings an edge to the brand that carries Colt 45 into an exciting future, the company said.
Pabst Brewing Company has been in business since 1844, and produces Pabst Blue Ribbon and other brands such as Old Milwaukee, Lone Star, Colt 45, Old Style, and Schlitz Malt Liquor.
