OLE SMOKY® TENNESSEE MOONSHINE BACK ON THE ROAD

Ole Smoky® Tennessee Moonshine is continuing its partnership with Multi-Platinum selling singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley on the just announced second leg of his headlining 2014 RISER TOUR. The 20-city run begins October 2 in Stockton, CA (see full list of cities below) and runs through the end of the year with special guests Randy Houser and Eric Paslay on the US dates and Houser and rising Canadian artist Tim Hicks on the stops north of the border.

Ole Smoky Moonshine has been making appearances as a featured spirit of the 2014 Riser Tour in various stops along the way. Ole Smoky’s Mini Holler, a bar on wheels modeled after the famous Distillery in Gatlinburg, TN, has been a big hit with country music fans serving up Ole Smoky® signature cocktails. The mega popular Bentley has been known to serve White Lightnin’™ Moonshine straight out of the jar to backstage guests. The Mini Holler will be in place at select cities on this second leg of the tour and dates and details will be listed on www.olesmoky.com.

The Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery, “The Holler” in Tennessee is America’s most visited distillery and produces all of Ole Smoky’s signature flavors. It features authentic-working moonshine stills and allows visitors to take in the entire moonshine distilling process – from beginning to end.

Cocktails served at the Mini Holler include:

Electric Lemonade
Ole Smoky® White Lightnin’™ and Lemonade

The Dolly
Ole Smoky® Apple Pie Moonshine™ and Ginger Ale

Shine n’ Seven
Ole Smoky® Blackberry Moonshine™ and Lemon Lime Soda

“We had a great time with Dierks Bentley on the first leg of his RISER tour and we are so excited to continue our partnership and travel the country with him,” said Joe Baker, founder of Ole Smoky Moonshine. “Just like Ole Smoky, the tour is about bringing people together who love country music and having fun. We hope the fans will keep shining at the Mini Holler as it visits new places.”

While capacity crowds have filled amphitheaters across the country, Bentley’s tour has also caught the attention of critics who note headlining is “what the man was born to do” (Arizona Republic).

Bentley’s smash hit of the summer, “Drunk On A Plane,” continues to gain momentum as it closes in on the No. one position, selling an average of over 65,000 singles a week.  The single is off his critically acclaimed and No. one selling new album, RISER, which has tallied more than 1.5 million digital track sales to date and has already claimed a chart topping hit with the deeply personal “I Hold On.”  His six previous studio albums have sold more than five million copies, notched 11 chart-topping singles and earned 11 GRAMMY nominations, countless CMA, ACM and CMT nominations and membership at the Grand Ole Opry.
