On Tuesday, March 6th, at 3:33PM, Anchor Distilling Company and British spirit & wine importer, Berry Bros. & Rudd, welcomed New York City media professionals and trade members from the United States Bartenders’ Guild, to Chinatown speakeasy Apotheke, where they hosted an intimate gathering to introduce the newly launched No.3 London Dry Gin and The King’s Ginger Liqueur.

Playing off the gin’s name and composition, the affair was comprised of 3’s and multiples of 3’s beginning with the event’s date and time and continuing at the fete with 3 passed hors d’ouevres, a 3-piece band, and 3 bartenders each offering two cocktails for a total of 6 beverages during the event. Guests sipped on traditional gin classics like the dry martini and Negroni as well as more creative Apotheke style cocktails such as the St. James Street Garden, featuring No.3 London Dry Gn, Fresh Cucumber, Bell Pepper, Cactus Pear, Habanero Bitters, Lime, Anise and Clove Salted Rim. The King’s Ginger Liqueur debuted in the King’s Squeeze cocktail, featuring the King’s Ginger and Fever Tree’s Bitter Lemon.

Guests took home personalized flipbooks from a British inspired flip book booth that offered a variety of props that included fake moustaches, vintage books, royal crowns, and of course bottles of The King’s Ginger Liqueur and No.3 Gin.

No.3 is already served in the finest bars in London, and quickly gaining notoriety stateside in San Francisco, Chicago and now New York City.
