BACARDI® Introduces Torched Cherry™ Flavored Rum
Just in time for spring and summer entertaining, BACARDI® introduces its latest flavor innovation, BACARDI® TORCHED CHERRY™, following the 2009 success of BACARDI® DRAGON BERRY™.
Combining the rich, bold taste of Barbados cherries with the light, smooth infusion of Torch Plant aloe, BACARDI Torched Cherry flavored rum is a refreshing spirit with a distinguished taste. Torch Plant aloe is a succulent, nectar-rich ingredient indigenous to South Africa. It pairs ideally with Barbados cherries, also known as Acerola, a fruit that has recently received considerable attention for its versatility and sweet, robust flavor.

BACARDI Torched Cherry flavored rum mixes perfectly with Coca-Cola® for a Cherry flavored Coke with a contemporary flair. The combination of Barbados cherries and Torch Plant Aloe can also be mixed with lemonade for a great-tasting cocktail.
BACARDI Torched Cherry can also be enjoyed in a wide range of specialty cocktails that include: Torched Pom Berry, paired with pomegranate syrup and garnished with a sugar rim; Cherry Storm, which combines pineapple and cranberry juice; and Burnt Berry, pomegranate juice and Sprite®, garnished with a maraschino cherry.
