NBA Star & Partners Announce Launch Of The Bottles Waiting App, Aiming to Reshape The Club Experience for Clients And Owners

NBA Star Ty Lawson and partners announce the launch of the Bottles Waiting app in the Denver area, aiming to reshape how club goers enjoy their days and nights, and how owners manage their venues.

Founded by two serial entrepreneurs and supported by a board of advisors including Atlantic Record’s Senior VP Motti Shulman and Federal Sales Director at Brocade Communication Systems George DeLisle, the Bottles Waiting mobile app is aiming to be a hub for users searching for a perfect night (or day), and for managers looking to improve their venues.

Already available for free through the App store and preparing for its live Denver launch on October 25, Bottles Waiting lets users search for clubs in their area and view the events being held at the venues — allowing them to see flyers and even promotional videos of specific parties. The booking feature in the user-friendly app allows club goers to see the venue’s floor layout, available tables, VIP and Celebrity tables. They are then given the option to reserve a table of their own and pre-purchase bottle service.

Additionally, users —whether they be locals or tourists — can choose their arrival time, see the venue’s minimum spend based on the total party members, view the club’s drinks menu, and choose a split payment option for the table that can be charged to any major credit card.

“The app gives you all the options that you need to find the perfect venue for your particular group of friends,” says Co-founder and President of Bottles Waiting Michelle Grinnell. “It makes it easy for people to plan their night and be sure that they know what they are getting. The venue information on the app tells them the type of music, the dress code, and the tables that are already booked on the night, streamlining the process for both customers and managers,” she explains.

For club owners whose businesses depend on the satisfaction of their clients, Grinnell adds, the mobile app and complimenting organizational dashboard allows for the seamless management of every facet of the venue’s operations. The app is already paired with numerous clubs throughout the Denver area, including Beta — the city’s only Top 100 nightclub and bar.

The Bottles Waiting team looks to facilitate a positive client experience from the first contact at the entrance to the venue by offering the sister “Doorman” iPad app, which gives door staff information of incoming reservations, checking in guests, seating locations, and being able to see the exact number of people within the venue at any given time.

For owners, the platform becomes an all-encompassing managing solution, giving them access to real-time data to track sales, customer numbers, reservations, and future event attendance from one dashboard. Additionally, the app gives an insight into the marketing arena, which managers can use to tailor events popular with their clientele —bypassing promoters and hosts.

According to Bottles Waiting Inc. Co-founder and CEO Tim Bird, due to the nature of busy clubs, managers are constantly losing potential bottle service revenue just on the 25-40 minute waiting times often experienced by customers when they first arrive. The app’s bottle service pre-ordering feature essentially removes those waiting times, greatly improving customer experience and in turn generating more of the lucrative sales for the venues.

“The core idea behind the app is to make every customer feel like a VIP, taking away waiting times both within and outside of the club,” Mr Bird says. “And the service is a reciprocal platform by giving managers and staff more oversight and control, making an already fast-paced environment more efficient,” he adds.

As a market, the Nightclub service industry is already a multi-billion dollar a year economy within the United States. According to nightclub.com, Las Vegas, one of the biggest centerpieces of this industry, is seen to pull in $1.5 billion alone with some clubs reaching revenue levels of $75 million per year. The Bottles Waiting app seeks to be at the forefront of revenue and organizational facilitation in the rapidly growing industry.

Along with Ty Lawson as CMO, and an advisory board consisting of Atlantic Records’ Motti Shulman, James Spivey from Zento Studios, and Brocade’s George DeLisle, the Bottles Waiting team seeks to not only facilitate the club experience for customers and managers alike, but also make sure that the focus can be on having the best time at the best parties in town.

Based in the Work In Progress offices in Las Vegas, NV, Bottles Waiting Inc. is co-founded by serial entrepreneurs Tim Bird (CEO) and Michelle Grinnell (President) both of whom grew up in the Denver area, and Ty Lawson (CMO). The app allows users to enjoy day/nightclubs their way making it easier them to find what nightlife or dayclub events are going on, whether you are a traveler or local. Users can find the exact table they want, what the table minimum is, pre-pay for a table, and even pre-order your liquor bottles and mixers — so they can have Bottles Waiting for them at any ETA they select.
