Accoring to PRNewswire, Double Cross Vodka and Morton’s The Steakhouse announce the launch of a new “Signature Mortini” called “The Double Cross.” One dollar from each sale of a Double Cross cocktail will go to “Birdies for the Brave,” a charity founded by pro golfer Phil Mickelson to support wounded soldiers returning from the frontlines. The pear martini cocktail features a unique Chilean wild baby pear garnish and a golf-tee-inspired cocktail skewer.

“At Morton’s we always align ourselves with the highest quality, and that transcends from our guests to our staff and to our business partners,” said Christopher J. Artinian, President and CEO of Morton’s Restaurant Group, Inc. “Double Cross is an ideal partner, as it is a US-based luxury brand that is committed to Morton’s staff and guests. Their commitment to their brand as well as ours makes them the perfect choice to align with Birdies for the Brave, especially with golf being such a passion for our dining guests.”

“We are thrilled to be partnering with such a respected and nationally renowned restaurant group as Morton’s,” says Double Cross CEO Malcolm M. Lloyd, M.D. “We believe fans of Morton’s will find ‘The Double Cross’ to be a perfect compliment to their fine dining experience. And we are deeply honored that sales of our cocktail will support the Birdies for the Brave charity. There really is no better feeling than when business success also works to support a good cause.”
