The Miami Rum Renaissance Festival, the largest gathering of rum producers, professionals and enthusiasts in the world, is pleased to announce a lineup of inviting VIP events taking place at bars across Miami the week leading up to the Miami Rum Renaissance Festival held April 25 to 27, 2014 at the Doubletree Hotel Miami Airport Convention Center.

From Mon., April 21 through Sun., April 27, the Miami Rum Renaissance Festival Cocktail Week will offer consumers a welcoming series of seven events showcasing the best bars, bartenders, cocktails and spirits Miami has to offer. Attendees will enjoy exceptional craft cocktails made with the finest spirits and fresh ingredients.

Monday, April 21: Rum cocktail pop-up bar with eclectic cocktails from Caña Rum Bar in Los Angeles. Broken Shaker, Miami Beach
Tuesday, April 22: Original Tiki Cocktails in the Molokai Bar (optional dinner with Polynesian dance show). Mai Kai, Fort Lauderdale
Wednesday, April 23: Classic Bacardi Cocktails VIP Party featuring libations from the first family of rum. Bacardi Penthouse, Bacardi U.S.A. Coral Gables Headquarters
Thursday, April 24: Imaginative cocktails and poetry to sooth the soul in a modern urban setting. Gramps Bar, Wynwood

Celebrating its sixth year, the 2014 Miami Rum Renaissance Festival has greatly expanded to feature more than 50,000 square-feet of exhibits and more than 80 rum producers showcasing hundreds of award-winning and notable rum brands and expressions from around the world. 

A grand tasting, expert seminars, lively entertainment and an Island Lifestyle Showcase are just a few of the experiences on tap at this year’s festival. 

The three-day Grand Tasting Exhibition will give attendees the opportunity to sample more than 200 rums from more than 30 countries around the world and mix with rum makers and rum ambassadors. A Trade-Only Preview exclusively for members of the spirits industry will be held on Friday, April 25 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at a discounted admission price of $20.00. 

The Grand Tasting Exhibition will open to the public on Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at an admission price of $50.00 per day. VIP access begins at noon each day for an admission price of $75.00 per day. In addition, a three-day VIP ticket providing full access on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. is available at a price of $150.00.

The annual Miami Rum Renaissance Festival gives rum enthusiasts the opportunity to sample hundreds of fine rums from the Caribbean and beyond during three days of Grand Tasting events at the DoubleTree Miami Airport Convention Center on April 25-27, 2014.
