Lashing Out at Liquor License Fees

In the great bar state of Montana, a new piece of proposed legislation has hit the state house that, if passed, would end the practice of counties and cities from charging bar owners liquor license fees that pile on top of other state-required fees for nightlife operators. In particular, small independent bars and taverns and pubs, where every dollar counts, would benefit from the policy change.
