Kold-Draft Recruits Top Industry Talent

The finest cocktails deserve the finest ice, and now Kold-Draft not only makes the finest ice but also has one of the finest national sales teams. In response to growing demand for Kold-Draft ice making equipment, the company has hired a new management and sales team to cover the United States more effectively and increase the level of retailer contact.

Leonard Kosar now serves as president and CEO of Kold-Draft. Prior to joining Kold-Draft, Kosar was president of GE Plastics Pacific, General Electric’s $2.1 billion plastics business in Asia. During his 22 years at General Electric, Kosar led a number of General Electric operations, including serving as General Manager of the $1.2 billion GE appliance cooking products business.

As part of a new national and regional sales strategy, Kold-Draft has recruited and hired some of the industry’s top sales talent. Kold-Draft is excited to announce the addition of five new sales managers: Jim Nordstrom, Mickey Gardner, Tim Vesevick, Jim Standeford and Bob Weiss. These new sales executives bring successful track records and strong industry knowledge that will deliver aggressive sales results. Jim Nordstrom will be responsible for the West, Mickey Gardner for the Southeast, Tim Vesevick for the North Central, Jim Standeford for the Southwest and Bob Weiss for the Northeast.

Becky Standley remains responsible for national account sales management for Kold-Draft. She comments: “The caliber of recent appointments means that the sales team at Kold-Draft has never been stronger. We look forward to building even stronger relationships with our customers and re-establishing our unique product line as the premier ice machine in the industry.”
