Electro-Pop Duo Cherub to Perform a Menu of On-Demand Songs at W Times Square

WHAT: Electro-pop duo and rising stars, Cherub, will take over W Times Square with a unique interactive music experience – New York’s first ever Human Jukebox on November 8th & 9th. For two days only, Cherub will take up residency at the hotel and perform a menu of upbeat tunes from the Living Room to the elevators and everywhere in between. Inspired by iconic jukeboxes, guests and locals alike can choose from an eclectic mix of indie pop, classic oldies and today’s hits including, Oasis’s Wonderwall, Cyndi Lauper’s Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Billy Joel’s Uptown Girl, Frankie Valli’s Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You, Calvin Harris’s Feel So Close, Cherub’s Love You Right and more. The Human Jukebox at W Times Square will come on the heels of W London-Leicester Square’s Human Jukebox with musical act BIGkids launching on October 30th.
In addition, anyone staying or stopping by the hotel will be able to catch impromptu performances in the hotel elevators, fitness center, Living Room bar and more.
Cherub is the dance love-child of 80’s funk and pop-music from the future made up of Nashville natives, Jordan Kelley and Jason Huber. Named one of Paste Magazine’s “12 Tennessee Bands you Should Listen to Now,” Cherub has performed at major music festivals such as Bonnaroo, SXSW, Electric Forest, Hangout Fest, Snowball Music Fest, and with STS9 at Red Rocks Amphitheater.
