Hiro Sake Expansion, Now in 20 U.S. States

Hiro Sake from Japan announces its expansion into Mexico in January 2016 as well as adding Ohio as a new market as of now, bringing the total count of U.S. states that distributes Hiro to 20.
 
In a recent article in USA Today (11/19/15; click here <http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2015/11/19/japan-sake-rides-export-boom-usa/75885206/>  to read), Japanese sake is riding “an export boom to U.S.A.” and, according to Yoshiro Okamoto, vice chairman of the Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association, Americans in particular tend to buy higher-end, higher-priced sake. The average price of sake exported to the United States is about $9 a liter — twice the price of the average sake sold in Japan, Okamoto said.
