Hornitos Tequila has come up with an interesting twist that pays homage to the fun, traditional mariachi music we all enjoy, along with a crisp shot of tequila. Mash ups and custom interpretations are as popular as ever, and Hornitos is supporting their popularity and giving musicians a chance at stardom via the new Hornitos Mariachi Mash Up competition.
The Hornitos Mariachi Mash Up competition challenges all kinds of musical acts to create their own mariachi-inspired mash up and kick off tequila season right. Winners will receive exposure in Billboard Magazine and $10,000 cash.
Entrants can select from one of the following songs to cover mariachi style to qualify:
• “Young Folks” By Peter, Bjorn and John
