Happy About the Fourth

Happy’s Girls have been making Happy Boys since 2005 in Baton Rouge and in New Orleans since 2011. This fall, Lafayette will join in the fun when the fourth location of the popular Happy’s Irish Pub chain opens its doors in the city’s River Ranch development.

Walk-On’s Enterprises, the innovative restaurant company behind Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar, will begin construction on the new Happy’s in early July. The pub will take over the space previously occupied by Main Street Bar & Grill at 1315 Camellia Blvd.

“Happy’s was the second concept we rolled out, and it’s developed a very loyal following in both Baton Rouge and New Orleans,” said Brandon Landry, co-owner and founder of Walk-On’s Enterprises. “We are known for our incredible drink selections, which are rivaled only by our beautiful Happy’s girls. We hope the people in Lafayette will welcome us with open arms just as they have with Walk-On’s.”

The newest Happy’s will feature a fully stocked bar with only the finest Irish whiskeys, scotches and bourbons, more than 100 beers on tap, an outdoor beer garden, several high-definition televisions and live entertainment. The 3,500-square-foot pub will also introduce Lafayette to the chain’s renowned “Beers O’Blarney,” its “Shots & Shenanigans” – including the Signature Car Bomb, Jet Fuel, Kamikaze and Lemondrop – and other specialty drinks.

Walk-On’s Enterprises is arguably the most distinctive restaurant company in America. Its concepts are fresh, fun and original, from Walk-On’s Bistreaux & BarSM — voted ESPN’s “Best Sports Bar in North America” — to Happy’s Irish Pub™ and Walk-On’s Catering. Additional growth lies ahead, as the company expands on its winning combination of delicious, affordable food and drinks presented in an uncommonly warm and friendly atmosphere.
