GREY GOOSE® Appoints North American Brand Ambassador

greygoose.jpgGREY GOOSE® Vodka recently announced that Guillaume Jubien is joining the company as the North American brand ambassador. In this capacity, Jubien will conduct brand education for bartenders and mixologists, develop new recipes and cocktail menus, as well as serve as the face of the brand for media, industry events and conferences.

Born in Morlaix, France, Jubien’s appointment emphasizes the French roots of the GREY GOOSE Vodka brand. He has been a mixologist for nearly a dozen years and in nearly as many countries. No stranger to the hospitality industry, Jubien was a member of the team that opened the Met Bar at the Metropolitan Hotel in London. As head bartender, he managed staff-training, menus and coordination of all pre-opening activities for the bar. After spending six years at Metropolitan, he moved on to open Ian Schrager’s exclusive bars at St. Martin Lane and Sanderson Hotels, which were designed by Philippe Starck.

Several years ago, he was recruited by LVMH China to serve as Grand Marnier’s brand ambassador in Asia. Prior to this role, he made a name for himself at Schrager’s properties and some of the world’s most prestigious bars, including the VOLAR Shanghai; Conrad Tokyo; Lounge O at Orbient; Blue & Waza; Slinky Tokyo; and Hakkasan London.

Living on different continents — from Japan to Egypt — has cultivated his passion for travel, new cultural experiences and photography. His creativity and artistic eye led him to collaborate on the book Sauceguide to Cocktails by Simon Difford. Jubien earned a degree in Business Management from the Institut Supérieur de Commerce et d’Informatique d’Orsay (ISCIO) in France. He currently resides in Los Angeles and speaks French, English, Spanish and Japanese.
