According to PRNewswire, Phusio Projects, LLC has announced the arrival of its latest Four Loko XXX Limited Edition flavor-Blueberry Lemonade, which will be in stores by the end of May. This new addition means that the Green Apple flavor will be retired, which has been on the market since January.
Blueberry Lemonade arrives just in time to continue Four Loko’s powerful business momentum into the summer. The brand’s sales for 2011 are 27% higher than in the same period last year.
“It’s been a great start to 2011 and we think the introduction of Blueberry Lemonade to the XXX Limited Edition line will continue helping us grow as a company,” said Chris Hunter, one of the co-founders of Phusion Projects.
Four Loko’s XXX Limited Edition series was created to meet consumer demand for new products by providing a new flavor every few months. In addition to announcing the new flavor, Phusion Projects has announced that Four Loko fans will help to choose the next XXX Limited Edition flavor. Fans can go to the Four Loko Facebook page and choose between four potential new flavors: Coconut, Kiwi Strawberry, Margarita and Pomegranate Blueberry. In accordance with the company’s continued commitment to responsible drinking, only adults of legal drinking age are able to access the Facebook page and participate in the vote.
“The secret of Four Loko’s success is no secret at all: We work hard to understand what consumer want and then give it to them,” said Hunter. “The Facebook poll gives our loyal fans a chance to choose the next flavor of Four Loko they want to see on store shelves.”
The Blueberry Lemonade Four Loko XXX Limited Edition is a flavored malt beverage that does not contain caffeine, guarana or taurine.
