Goldman Sachs is recognizing the founders of VEEV Spirits, Carter and Courtney Reum, as one of the 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2014 at its Builders + Innovators Summit in Santa Barbara, California.
Goldman Sachs selected the Reum brothers among their top 100 entrepreneurs from multiple industries to be honored at the two-day event. In 2007, while in their twenties, the Reum brothers decided to leave their successful careers in investment banking to pursue their dream to create a category‐defining spirit that offered a Better Way To Drink™. As a result, they developed and launched VEEV®. VEEV is a 70 proof premium spirit handcrafted with local Idaho winter wheat and Rocky Mountain water. It is infused with just the right amount of organic açaí from Brazil, along with other all-natural ingredients to deliver the smooth and award-winning taste. What started as a two-man team selling VEEV out of the trunks of their cars, turned into one of the best-selling independent liquor brands in the U.S. In 2012, the brand launched its newest line extension – VitaFrute™ Cocktails by VEEV, the first line of organic ready-to-drink cocktails.
