The Bitter Truth, Europe’s leading producer of cocktail bitters and flavorings, has announced that E**X**R was given 92 points out of 100, receiving the grades of “excellent” and “highly recommended” at the second annual Ultimate Spirits Challenge. Each spirit in the competition is scored on a 100-point scale, and products scoring 90 points or higher were then evaluated blind once again, in newly-created groupings by a different panel of judges.
E**X**R is an artisanal digestive liqueur, firmly rooted in the traditions of both classic sweet vermouths and alpine digestive tonics. This product falls between the taste profile of amaro and vermouth, offering a complex new flavoring for the mixologist’s arsenal.
