Beach Haus® to Donate to the New Jersey Relief Fund
In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, East Coast Beer Co. is launching a fundraising initiative, Beach Haus® Rally for Relief, to provide a “critical mechanism” to collect donations and assistance to help families affected by the destruction of the storm. For every case of Beach Haus® Classic American Pilsner, Kick Back Ale and Winter rental Black Lager, East Coast Beer Co. will donate $1.00 to the New Jersey Relief Fund organized by First Lady Marie Pat Christie.
“We realize that so many of our New Jersey friends will be dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy for many weeks, months, and in some cases, years into the future,” said John Merklin, co-owner of East Coast Beer Co. “We want to do our part to help these families that are affected by this destruction and will continue to be affected well after the initial stages of recovery.”
A number of East Coast Beer Co.’s distributors are also getting involved. From now until January 31, 2012, every $1.00 donation will be comprised of a $.50 donation from the sale of Beach Haus® beer brands, as well as a $.50 donation from one of the local distributors. Kohler Distributors, Ritchie & Page and Harrison Beverage are just a few of the local distributors that have already signed up to Rally for Relief and support this effort.
“It’s truly a sad thing to witness the destruction of homes and lives at the Jersey Shore. We hope that our efforts, along with our distributors, can make even the slightest difference in the lives of those that are suffering.” added Brian Ciriaco, co-owner of East Coast Beer Co.
To join East Coast Beer Co. in this Rally for Relief, buy a case of beer, cut out and mail an original UPC bar code from the bottom of one of the cases to: East Coast Beer Co., Attn: Beach Haus Rally for Relief, 528D Arnold Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742.
