Crown Imports Steps Up To Skyrise Challenge

Crown Imports employees stepped up to the SkyRise Chicago Challenge at Chicago’s Willis Tower to help raise awareness and funds in support of the world-renowned Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. The SkyRise Chicago Challenge, which was sponsored by Corona Light, took place on Sunday, November 6, 2011, is a unique, world-class event that challenges participants to walk up the 2,109 steps to the top of Willis Tower, or hand cycle the equivalent on stationary equipment specially calibrated to mirror the same resistance and distance. This year’s event raised nearly $1,000,000, with additional donations expected.

Crown Imports employees registered as “Team Corona Light” and showed their support for the innovative work being done by RIC researchers and scientists, and the world-class care being provided by their doctors and therapists, by participating in the event.

Upon completion of the event, Team Corona Light members posed for a photo on the Willis Tower “Ledge.”
