Crāv Spirits is introducing its premium brand vodka to Ohio customers, restaurants, bars and clubs. In Cleveland, the brand has already committed 50 establishments to serve from the 1-liter introductory bottle, as well as secured shelf space in liquor stores in Northeast Ohio as early as June 1.

Current customers include nightlife in Cleveland’s downtown hot spot called the Warehouse District, and trendy Ohio City and Tremont neighborhoods on the near west side of the city.

Wholesale price for the 1-liter bottle is $28.25-$29.05 ($31.70-$33.15 retail). Pricing by the case, which includes six bottles, is $169.50-$174.30 ($190.20-198.90 retail). Crāv Vodka can be pre-ordered from a state liquor store for delivery June 1st.

The private label brand was created by Thomas M. Rini, a native of Cleveland. Pending success in his hometown, Rini is planning to conquer spirits sales on a state-by-state basis following the five city tasting tour in Ohio, including Cleveland (and Akron/Canton) and Columbus initially and simultaneously, followed by Toledo, Dayton, and Cincinnati.

“The goal is to grow slowly, strategically,” says Rini, who was not only “craving” something more in life and work, but the perfect vodka. “Most premium and ultra premium vodkas ‘burn’ going down…I wanted a smooth blend that could be sipped minus the ‘burn.’ We’ve accomplished this in Crāv Vodka.”
