Chivas Regal Continues Chivalry Campaign

Chivas Regal has teamed up with Academy Award winning short filmmaker, Joachim Back, to create a new TV commercial titled “Real Friends.” The engaging 30 and 60 second spots are part of its latest consumer advertising campaign designed to connect with discerning modern gentlemen.

The commercial depicts a group of sophisticated male friends in their early 30s enjoying brotherhood and quality time together over a glass of Chivas Regal in a bar setting, while reminiscing over legendary moments from their shared past that truly affirmed their friendship. Their memories are brought to life for viewers with stunning backdrop visuals and entertaining, comical scenes.

The commercial was created from longer short films, Here’s to Big Bear and Here’s to Twinkle, which can be viewed on www.Chivas.com. The “Real Friends” spot launches on October 31st, with the 30 and 60-second executions available to view on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXYT-1W1byMt, as well as on national cable TV channels. The campaign is also executed in print and supported by a digital campaign.

In line with Chivas Regal’s ongoing Live with Chivalry campaign, which launched in 2008, the commercial features men who embody the masculine values that the brand embraces such as loyalty, brotherhood, honor and a sense of passion and luxury.
