Canadian Club Whisky Launches Boardwalk Empire Product

Canadian Club Whisky is launching a limited-edition Boardwalk Empire value-added product in celebration of its starring role in the show. Canadian Club is also participating in HBO’s integrated marketing campaign “Compliments of Nucky,” designed to excite consumers about the premiere of Season 2 (Sunday, September 25th at 9pm EST) and illustrate that loyalty to Nucky has its benefits.

The new product is a 750 mL bottle of Canadian Club 6 year old paired with Boardwalk Empire logoed flasks, wrapped in Boardwalk Empire-branded “neckers.” Only 100,000 bottles will be released in liquor stores nationwide while supplies last, at a suggested retail price of $13.99.

Fans who show their loyalty to Nucky by “liking” the Boardwalk Empire Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/boardwalkempire will receive special deals, exclusive content and other perks from Living Social, Caesars Atlantic City and Canadian Club Whisky for the “Compliments of Nucky” campaign. Canadian Club fans who click through to the CC Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/candianclub will have the opportunity to experience Canadian Club’s rich history by taking a virtual tour or purchasing an actual tour (for five cents!) of the Canadian Club Heritage Center in Windsor, Ontario Canada.
