BRECKENRIDGE SALUTES SUMMER WITH BEER FEST

The Breckenridge Summer Beer Festival, a favorite among festival aficionados, returns Saturday, July 26 from 1 – 6 p.m., featuring a new location, more breweries, new gluten-free options and expanded festivities. The anticipated event also includes several great elements participants have come to expect: unlimited beer tasting, free live music and a food-lovers food booth paradise.

Described as an event that celebrates brews, views and great live music in the heart of Breckenridge, Breck’s signature summer beer festival is growing. This year, the event moves to a larger outdoor location at Beaver Run Resort, accommodating more breweries, expanded tasting options and more fun. Producers also are adding a few surprises for VIP ticket holders.

This year’s festival also features gluten-free tasting options from Wild Cider and Colorado Cider Company. Wild Cider will sample three flavors, apple, berry and pineapple, while Colorado Cider will bring along their popular Glider Cider for the tasting.

“This event has grown to become a favorite in the mountains among the breweries and attendees,” said Jen Radueg, events director for Radiate Live Events, the event producer. “In its ninth year, the Breck Beer Fest is bigger than ever with more brews and more fun. We’re excited to be hosting the festival at Beaver Run at the base of the mountain this summer.”

Live music on-tap for the Breck Summer Beer Festival includes Turkuaz, The Wind + The Wave, and Fort Frances.

Tickets costs for the Breck Summer Beer Festival are $27.50 for unlimited tasting access and a five-ounce commemorative tasting cup if pre-purchased by July 25, or $35 if purchased the day of the event. VIP access passes, including a commemorative glass mug, VIP event entrance, covered seating, full beers and sodas, catered lunch, private restrooms and an on-site Cicerone, are $67.50 if pre-purchased by July 25, or $80 the day of the event. Brewers provide a private selection of exclusive beers for VIP participants. VIP Designated Driver tickets are available for $30 pre-sale or $40 the day of the event and include all VIP access options, excluding alcohol tastings and mug.
