Bootlegger 21 Vodka, handcrafted in New York’s Hudson Valley, has announced their official launch event in New York City. On Saturday, April 16th, Bootlegger 21 will host a Jazz Age Gala to launch their hometown spirit.

Bootlegger 21 takes inspiration from the Prohibition era of the 20’s and 30’s. “In the spirit of the Bootleggers who came before us, we said, to heck with our financial woes and quit our jobs to follow our hearts in creating this spirit in the tradition of the American craftsman,” said Brian Facquet, Co-Founder, Prohibition Distillery “It has been a long journey, but we are living our dream everyday!”

The prohibition-inspired vodka takes its name from the 21st amendment that repealed the ban on the sale of alcohol in 1933, it is an elegantly crafted vodka that calls the Empire State its home. “New York is where prohibition was most powerfully felt and passionately disputed,” added John Walsh, Co-Founder, Prohibition Distillery. “We could find no greater place to launch Bootlegger 21 than the Big Apple; the heart of New York State.”

The event will take place at the Cotton Club on April 16th from 9:00pm-2:00am. Tickets can be purchased in advance at cottonclub.eventbee.com for $25.00.
