Austin Cocktails is a collection of artisanal, low-calorie, ready-to-serve cocktails made with six times distilled premium vodka and fine, natural ingredients. The company strives to bring craftsmanship, creativity and quality to the ready-to-serve cocktail category.
Four varieties in 750 mL (wine-sized) bottles contain over six cocktails, with each cocktail containing under 100 calories.

THE PROCESS
Traditionally, the ready to drink space is seen as a value buy, made with artificial flavors and often associated with heavy sugars and neon colors. When Jill and Kelly launched Austin Cocktails, they thought the time was ripe to nudge the category forward with a premium, craft product that is full-bodied, well balanced and features the highest quality ingredients.
While most beverage companies develop a drink in a few months and work with one or two flavor houses and a limited selection of ingredients, the founders of Austin Cocktails spent two years testing hundreds of flavors and flavor combinations from all over. Through previous work with a beverage company, Jill realized that expanding the flavor search could create a significantly more complex recipe. In their effort to create an intricate and distinctive light cocktail, Austin Cocktails worked with more than a dozen purveyors of natural juices, essences and extracts to arrive at a fuller-bodied and more complex beverage than any products currently on the market. This meticulous search resulted in four delicious ready to serve cocktails that are light and full of flavor and fine ingredients.
The ready to drink cocktail category has seen improvement in fits and start. These varied executions are now being challenged by the consistently crafted, artisanal Austin Cocktails.
PREMIUM, SIX TIMES DISTILLED VODKA
The vodka in Austin Cocktails is distilled six times in a continuous column still, filtered, and prepared with purified water and premium grains for a smooth, crisp finish.
INGREDIENTS
Makers Jill Burns and Kelly Gasink tried hundreds of ingredients from all over the world – ranging from jalapenos to star fruit – when developing Austin Cocktails. They discovered their ideal flavors were those that tasted truest to their natural state or as if they had just been extracted from the source. Think lime flavors that deliver the tastes of the whole fruit – from the juice of the fleshy inside to the grassiness of the rind. Or a mint flavor that tastes as if it were just muddled to release the essential oils from the leaves into the drinks. No artificially boosted flavors or synthetics allowed. These subtleties give Austin Cocktails a more authentic, vibrant taste than other beverages on the market.
Because they wanted to create a premium, low-calorie cocktail, Jill and Kelly also meticulously surveyed the available sweetening options. They tried every combination of sugar sources – regular sugar, organic sugar, monk fruit, stevia, sucralose, aspartame and more – and eventually arrived at agave. The organic, golden agave nectar they selected, from a niche provider in Mexico, provides a light, natural sweetness that is not overly sugary, syrupy or artificial tasting.

Sisters Jill Peterson Burns and Kelly Gasink come to Austin Cocktails with previous beverage experience, business acumen and highly successful entrepreneurial background including the creation of four start-up businesses between them, five including Austin Cocktails.
Their individual strategic and creative skill sets, combined with their previous professional experiences, complement one another and will continue to serve as a catalyst for the ongoing development and growth of Austin Cocktails.
