This fall, Anchor Distilling launched No.3 Gin and The King’s Ginger liqueur with an exclusive soiree at Eastern Standard Kitchen + Drinks in Boston, MA. Recognized as one of the nation’s premiere destinations for high volume craft cocktails, Anchor Distilling could not have chosen a more appropriate, or more Boston, setting.

Early guests were treated to cocktails and canapés that represented the height of haute sophistication as they mixed and mingled amidst elegant Edwardian music. As the evening wore, the soundtrack turned from posh to punk, with a Brit Pop stopover in between, a nod to the venue’s former incarnation as The Ratt, Boston’s premiere venue for punk music in the 80s and 90s.

From 5:33-8:33, partygoers sampled drinks made by Kevin Martin of Eastern Standard, including two punches and signature cocktails. Guests delighted in the libations beneath the 10-foot mural that adorned the iconic mirror above Eastern Standard’s marble bar, featuring a signature No.3 Gin key superimposed atop Union Jack.

Some of the industry’s brightest stars were in attendance from Boston and beyond, including Joy Richard (The Citizen, The Franklin), Nicole Levedvitch (The Hawthorne), Elizabeth Powell (Descent), Chad Arnholt (The Citizen Pub, The Franklin Café), LUPEC Seattle’s Wendy Miller, and Paris-based expat Forrest Collins (52 Martinis). David King, President of Anchor Distilling, Dennis Carr, VP of Sales for Anchor Brewers and Distillers and Rusti Porter, Marketing Director of Anchor Distilling were also in attendance.
