Aberlour, the internationally acclaimed single malt Scotch whisky, is set to launch Aberlour 12 Year Old Non Chill-Filtered in the United States, following its successful introduction into France earlier this year.

This unique expression is non chill-filtered to ensure that the full flavor of the malt is preserved, giving the mouth-feel increased body and a rich texture, while retaining the distinctive characteristics of Aberlour, derived from its double maturation in rare sherry butts and bourbon casks.

Presented in modern packaging with rough textured paper and a wax seal, which provides an artisanal look and feel to reflect the quality and richness of the whisky, Aberlour 12 Year Old Non Chill-Filtered is a perfectly balanced, elegant whisky with warm notes of fruit and spice, bottled at 48% ABV.

Michael McLaren, Associate Brand Manager of Scotch at Pernod Ricard USA, said, “Aberlour is a Speyside whisky with a growing word-of-mouth following here in the U.S. The whisky’s double cask matured style reveals the depth and complexity of the whisky. Previous expressions and in particular, A’bunadh, have been extremely well-received by whisky aficionados and enthusiasts alike. Aberlour 12 Year Old Non Chill Filtered takes its inspiration from these successes.”

Since 1995, Aberlour has grown strongly in its key markets of France, the UK, the U.S. and Travel Retail, and is now the seventh most popular malt whisky in the world.

Aberlour 12 Year Old Non Chill Filtered will be available this February in a 750 mL size with the suggested retail price of $59.99.
