Kick of the International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York with a Night of Broadway and Spirits

iAlcohol and Reed Exhibitions invite you to be part of the much anticipated “A Night of Broadway & Spirits” that caps off opening day of the International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York (IRFSNY) on February 28, 2010. This trade-only event is marketed by Reed Exhibitions directly to trade show attendees as “the place” to be when the show floor closes.

Hundreds of restaurant owners and spirits buyers plan on attending this exclusive event just to experience your brand. IRFSNY attendees will come directly to the event held at the Exit Gallery  – conveniently located just one block from the Javits Center where the IRFSNY show will take place. Exit Gallery is a beautiful, open plan 7000sf art gallery with sweeping 16’ ceilings and a state of the art lighting and sound system. In addition to having a presence on the main floor there is also the option of a select sponsor buy-out of the elegant downstairs space – a 3,000 sf expanse with full bar. Food will be served as an integral part of the evening with pairings that complement the spirits present. Small bites will be presented by the world’s finest food purveyors, many of whom are participants in the IRFSNY.

The “A Night of Broadway and Spirits” event is more than just a walk-around tasting and industry networking opportunity; it’s also our chance to assist the industry in giving back to those less fortunate. The event has partnered with the non-profit group Broadway in South Africa. There will be artists from the Lion King, Mamma Mia, Curtains, Rent, Hair and other Broadway shows performing Broadway songs during the event. A silent auction will be held to raise funds for this great cause. There will be several exciting items available during the live and silent auction. We will be asking each participating brand to submit one bottle for the silent auction with all proceeds going to Broadway in South Africa.
