pür•spirits, a small women run craft spirits label, is producing a new kind of cocktail book They want to give you an intriguing and inspiring cocktail book that is as beautiful as their distillations. Starting March 3 they’re turning to kickstarter, their friends, and supporters to make it happen.

Inspired by Art Deco, Tamara DeLempicka, and 1930s Berlin, they are producing a visually stunning publication that conjures a world of glamorous vintage beauty. Featuring recipes by, and portraits of, Bay Area female bartenders, stories of local bars, brands, and products, this is not just a recipe collection or instruction manual, but a visual treasure you’ll want on your coffee table and to give to your friends.

Every dollar raised during this kickstarter campaign goes directly towards printing costs for the book. Any funds raised above their $15,000 goal will be used to compensate photographer Kelly Puleio. The campaign kicks off March 3 with a private soiree starring pür•spirits cocktails, hosted by founder Kiki Braverman, Bay Area mixologist Summer-Jane Bell, and brand creative Tamara Costa. pür•spirits is giving friends, supporters, and cocktail lovers an opportunity to don their favorite 1930s inspired wears, and join them to enjoy libations, music, a photo exhibition and silent auction, raffle, photobooth, and mini fashion show!
