A New Challenge

Ultimate Spirits Challenge, the premier global spirits competition, is proud to announce the introduction of a new award in 2014 – the Ultimate Spirits Challenge Tried & True AwardSM.

Over the last four years of annual judging, Ultimate Spirits Challenge (USC) has discovered that some brands which have entered multiple years of USC have consistently stood out and earned high marks. These brands have made it through rigorous stages of USC judging and have proved that they can be counted on to provide consistent quality to consumers. In Ultimate Spirits Challenge’s quest to honor extraordinary product excellence, the Tried & True Award has been introduced.

Spirit brands are eligible for the Tried & True Award if they have scored 85 points or above in at least two Ultimate Spirits Challenges since 2010. 

Winning a USC Tried & True Award will celebrate the brand’s uncompromising quality and consistency in the marketplace. Icons touting the Tried & True Award will be available from the USC website. When these icons are used on the bottle or shelf in a retail shop, it will inform consumers that the brand is truly tried and true in the eyes of the USC judges which include such spirits industry luminaries as F. Paul Pacult, Sean Ludford, Dale DeGroff and David Wondrich, to name just a few of USC’s peerless judges.

Ultimate Spirits Challenge will take place on March 10 – 14, 2014. Brands still have time to enter their products until the drop dead entry deadline of Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at www.ultimate-beverage.com or via this link. Results of the 2014 Ultimate Spirits Challenge will be revealed at the end of the week of March 17.
