Independent Distillers Launches First-Ever Premium Chocolate Bourbon and First-Ever Vanilla Bourbon
Whiskey is big, and as we all know, size matters. It comprises 22% of total spirits sales. Flavored whiskies are even bigger thanks to a huge, double-digit growth spurt in 2013. The folks at Woodstock Bourbon, or Woody as they affectionately call it back at the distillery, know all about growth spurts. Since launching their Hot Licks and Killer Bee flavored Bourbons back in 2012, they have become a force to be reckoned with in the spirits industry.
On March 1st, 2014, Independent Distillers USA, the same folks who brought you the wildly successful Twisted Shotz portfolio, will be introducing their two newest flavored Woodstock Bourbons: the first-ever Premium Chocolate Bourbon, called After Dark and the first-ever Vanilla Bourbon, called Vanzilla.
As with their stable mates, the two new drinks feature 100% Woodstock Bourbon produced at one of Kentucky’s oldest registered distilleries. The everyday listed price is $16.99 for 750 ml bottles and all four are 70 proof.
