Perfect Purée Ambassadors in Hawaii and Vegas

The Perfect Purée of Napa Valley introduces the newest members of its Brand Ambassador team in two of the county’s most exciting food and beverage scenes — Hawaii and Las Vegas.

Jenn Marr moved to Hawaii from Boston when she was a teenager and embarked on a career that includes nine years as a bartender at Honolulu’s landmark Indigo and five years at the North Shore’s legendary Sugar Bar.

Jenn graduated from the University of Hawaii’s Culinary School of the Pacific with a double major in culinary and pastry and works as a bartender and manager at Luibueno’s, a popular Mexican & Latin restaurant.

Jenn’s love of island life and the Aloha spirit infuses everything she does, including her reinvention of a classic island cocktail in Don Q’s Hawaii Pina Colada Challenge. Jenn’s winning entry, the “Thaidal Wave,” earned her a trip in early 2016 to Don Q’s Seralles Distillery in Puerto Rico.

Tim Rita is originally from Hawaii, but traded azure seas for the bright lights of Las Vegas, where he brings tropical flair to The Cosmopolitan and the exclusive Bar 25 at Drai’s Nightclub.

Tim was a founding member of Hawaii’s first chapter of the U.S. Bartenders’ Guild and in 2013 represented Hawaii in Bombay Sapphire’s World’s Most Imaginative Bartender Competition.

On Oahu, Tim worked at the Aulani Disney Resort and Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman, where he was the lead bar chef. Tim’s accolades include being named one of Beverage Media Group’s 10 Bartenders to Watch in 2014 and serving as a Tales of the Cocktail apprentice program member in 2014.

As part of The Perfect Purée’s Brand Ambassador team, Marr and Rita will share their enthusiasm for The Perfect Purée via social media, food-related events and word-of-mouth, raising awareness of how The Perfect Purée’s high-quality, natural flavors are elevating food and beverage programs everywhere.

Since 1988, The Perfect Purée of Napa Valley has indulged the culinary passions of chefs, mixologists and food enthusiasts with products that provide ultimate fresh fruit flavor without the peeling, dicing and simmering required for making purées from scratch.

The company’s line of fruit purées and specialties features more than 30 premium flavors and 9 blends. Flavors range from pantry staples like raspberry, strawberry and banana to the exotic lychee, passion fruit and pink guava. All products contain no artificial additives, preservatives or sweeteners. The fruits are harvested at the peak of season, puréed and packed frozen to maintain optimal freshness, flavor and color no matter what the season. As the leading U.S. producer of premium fruit purées, The Perfect Purée of Napa Valley is revered in restaurants, hotels, bakeries, catering kitchens and bars for the just-picked taste and unmatched consistency of its products.

All flavors can be frozen for up to 24 months from date of manufacture. When thawed, the purees, concentrates and specialties last 7-10 days in the refrigerator, and blends for 21 days.
