Recently GREY GOOSE Vodka and Thrillist hosted the Cocktails for a Cause kickoff party to commemorate their partnership with City Harvest at The Standard in New York’s Meatpacking district. The kickoff soiree marks the beginning of a partnership between Bacardi and City Harvest, the non-profit dedicated to helping feed the more than 1.4 million New Yorkers facing hunger. In celebration of the partnership, Bacardi is making a $5000 donation to City Harvest, and Thrillist is donating $5 for every social media post that used the hashtag #SipsForACause during the event.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed custom cocktails, including The Grey Goose Martini, Bacardi 8 Old Fashioned, & Bombay Sapphire Bramble. Tunes were provided by DJ Jonathan Keyes & Yehuda, along with roaming saxophonist Kareem Wilkes, who got the crowd dancing as the sun set over the Hudson river. Guests also had fun in the large photo booth, where they could easily upload their photos to social media with the hashtag #SipsForACause. Tasty treats included Tuna Tartare Tacos, Mini Truffled Grilled Cheese, Fried Mac n Cheese Balls, and more.
In addition to last evening’s events, The Grey Goose Martini, Bacardi 8 Old Fashioned, & Bombay Sapphire Bramble cocktails will be available at 60+ accounts throughout NYC from March 23rd – March 30th.
