CONSTELLATION BRANDS RECEIVES CHICAGO CARES AWARD

Constellation Brands has received the 2014 Chicago Cares Corporate Partner Star Award for outstanding community service in Chicago.  Chicago Cares recently recognized Constellation Brands at its Cheers to Our Volunteers event on Dec. 1, 2014 in Chicago for the company’s ongoing commitment to providing its employees with opportunities to make a difference in the city where they work.

In July, Chicago Cares paired Constellation Brands with Shields Elementary School in Brighton Park.  For two days, more than 200 Constellation employees rolled up their sleeves to paint, landscape and beautify the school, resulting in an increased sense of pride for school staff, students and the greater community.

“At Constellation, we believe that volunteerism and our partnership with Chicago Cares strengthens the core values of our most important asset – our people,” said Jim Ryan, SVP of corporate affairs for Constellation Brands Beer Division.

“Constellation Brands is a valued partner and a leader in providing their employees with opportunities to work together to make significant improvements in Chicago.” said Jenné Myers, CEO, Chicago Cares.

Constellation Brands is continuing its work at Shields Elementary this winter.
