National Pomegranate Month Recipes

November is National Pomegranate month. This unique fruit is loaded with antioxidants, Vitamin C, and can aid in a myriad of ailments including digestion and inflammation. Oh, and did we mention it makes a great cocktail? Check out the collection of recipes below for ideas on how to incorporate this super fruit into a variety of cocktail recipes.

3 Kingspomegranate cocktail recipes

Ingredients:
1.5 oz JH Stillworks Barrel Aged Great Grey Gin
1/4 oz Zirbenz Stone Pine Liqueur
1.5 oz The Perfect Purée of Napa Valley Pomegranate, thawed
1/2 oz Blood Orange juice
1/4 oz. Amrita Cranberry Cordial (can substitute with cranberry juice)
1 drop Frankincense Organic Essential Oil

Directions:
Age JH Stillworks Barrel Aged Great Grey Gin in a barrel for 6 days. Combine all ingredients in a shaker, add ice and shake until proper dilution and mixing. Strain over ice into an old-fashioned glass. Garnish.

Hot Holiday Punch

Ingredients:holiday punch pomegranate
3oz Fresh Victor Cactus Pear & Pomegranate
1.5oz American whiskey
.5 oz St. Elizabeth’s Allspice Dram

Method:
Warm on the stovetop and store in a thermos dispenser. Serve in a San Francisco-style Irish Coffee glass (or other 6oz hot liquid glass). Wide lemon twist or floating allspice berries for garnish

Oaxacan Holiday

Ingredients:oaxacan holiday
1.5oz Fresh Victor Pineapple & Ginger Root
.75oz Fresh Victor Cactus Pear & Pomegranate
2oz Mezcal
1 dash Degroff’s Pimento Bitters or Angostura

Directions:
Build all ingredients over a cocktail shaker full of ice, shake well and strain over ice in a tall glass. Garnish with pineapple pieces.
