Quaffer LLC is looking to re-launch their product, The Quaffer (double bubble shot glass). They are attempting to do so with a fresh new face and approach.
15 years ago, Casey Moran, a student at Arizona State University had an idea to introduce people to a new and cool drinking device…the double bubble shot glass…The Quaffer! You pour any chaser in the bottom and your choice of liquor on top…the liquids stay separated until consumed where they mix and the last thing you taste is the chaser. Casey had a dream of spreading the Quaffer to millions of drinkers across the world and make millions doing it. What happened?
In the 15 years since introducing the Quaffer, the company has had its ups and downs, and rose to mediocrity at best in the “shot glass” category. It is the original Bomb Shot vessel, and since has seen many imitators and pretenders come out with their own versions. Some cool, some not, but the fact remains…the Quaffer is the original and still the coolest glass out there. The problem is Casey is now in his 40’s and holding on to visions he had when he was in his 20’s. What to do?
Bring on a 24-year-old with a bright outlook and fresh perspective. Alex Montague, a recent graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, who was backpacking through Europe (trying to find his purpose) emailed Casey halfway through his venture. Alex, a self-proclaimed Quaffer aficionado, expressed his dream job was to work with Quaffer. Alex’s email spoke to Casey and two months later they are now partnered up in Tempe, Arizona and getting ready to re-launch a glass that “has the potential to revolutionize the shot glass category.” Again?
Can a re-launch of an old product succeed a second time around? We are going to find out as Alex, who is quarterbacking this comeback, just launched a crowdfunding Campaign on Indiegogo to get Quaffer back to The Nightclub & Bar Show in Vegas at the end of March. Alex says “I’m really excited to be able to be a part of this re-birth of the coolest drinking glass around…if we can raise enough to get us to the show, it will give us the momentum needed to succeed in our re-launch. This is just the start of the awareness that should have spread like wildfire back in 2000 when the company first began. With social media being what it is, there is much more opportunity now in 2015 to do what Casey wished had happened back in 2000.”
With success of this new crowdfunding campaign, The Quaffer may just reach those millions who have never heard of it, but could really use it. With one of the awards offered in the indiegogo campaign being a trip to Vegas to join the team at the show, you can be a part of the Comeback!

Quaffer began in January of 2000. It revolves around a single product, the Quaffer…a double bubble shot glass. It fits in the nightclub and bar, promotional products, and gift industries, as well as the perfect drinking vessel for the young adult demographic…college. Quaffer is run by Casey Moran who created it, and Alex Montague. Quaffer is located in Tempe, AZ home of Arizona State University.
