City Winery CEO to Keynote Wine Symposium

Michael Dorf, CEO and Founder of City Winery will be the keynote speaker at the Oregon Wine Symposium this year (February 24th-25th). He’ll bet talking about how he went from being in the nightlife and music industry to owning his own winery. Michael’s passion for wine and music has allowed him to expand City Winery from the original location in Manhattan to cities such as Chicago, Napa, and Nashville in the matter of six years.

Michael is extremely excited to speak about his time as a winery owner but also interested in speaking about the up and coming Oregon Wine industry. He is excited to go to the great NW and talk about how Oregon wine sales are affecting the industry. He will also be talking about how Oregon is producing their wines, especially the ones using sustainably techniques to make the winemaking process more effective.

The Oregon Wine Symposium is an educational event and trade show for the Northwest wine community. The OWS is comprised of two full days of panel discussions and presentations covering the most relevant topics in viticulture, enology and business. Presented by some of our industry’s leading experts, the OWS is a can’t-miss event for winery owners, vineyard managers, winemakers and staff throughout your entire winery and vineyard business.
