Q, the Brooklyn born-and-bred brand of spectacular mixers, announces today it has signed 
on as the mixer sponsor of the first-ever Bar Convent Brooklyn, to be held June 12-13 at the Brooklyn Expo Center, just a short cab ride from Q’s home offices.
The Bar Convent started as a small industry meeting in Berlin and quickly gained a reputation as one of the world’s most notable international bar and beverage trade shows. Bar Convent Brooklyn serves as a channel between premium brands and influencers in the bar and beverages industry across the globe.
“The opportunity to host 2018’s premier cocktail event, with the world’s best bartenders and most exciting brands right in our backyard is like a dream come true,” said Q founder Jordan Silbert. “We’ve got some fun surprises up our sleeve and our entire team is looking forward showing everyone the best of what Brooklyn has to offer.”
HIGHBALL’R
Bar Convent Brooklyn will also serve as the climax of phase 1 of Q’s HIGHBALL’R initiative. The event series, held over the first part of the 2018, asked a handful of local bartenders to answer the question: “If you had to pack your hyper-local experience into one full day, what would it include?” From there, each host bartender invited a handful of bartenders from across the country to take part in that experience. All participants from HIGHBALL’R phase 1 will be on-hand to take part in the festivities in Brooklyn.
