As part of The Beach Boys’ ongoing 50th anniversary celebration, the surf-rock legends’ new Greatest Hits collection will be promoted on TouchTunes and will include 20 of the band’s most popular songs, including "California Girls," "Wouldn't It Be Nice," "Help Me, Rhonda," "Surfin' U.S.A.," "Good Vibrations" and "Kokomo." For five decades, America's first pop band recorded and performed the music that has become the world's favorite soundtrack to summer. Today, The Beach Boys continue to hold Billboard / Nielsen SoundScan’s record as the top-selling American band for albums and singles, and they are also the American group with the most Billboard Top 40 chart hits (36). Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and recipients of The Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement GRAMMY Award, The Beach Boys are an American institution that is iconic around the world. KISS Debuts Monster on TouchTunes Monster is the 20th studio album by American rock band KISS and will make its official debut on TouchTunes on October 9, 2012. The band’s 40-plus year career has garnered over 40 million in U.S. sales, more than 100 million in sales worldwide and 28 U.S. gold albums, the most awarded to any American rock band in history. Monster has been built from the ground up as a rock record. “There are no symphony orchestras, boy choirs, keyboards, outside producers or songwriters on this album,” promises Gene Simmons. The album is being released on the tails of KISS's national September tour. TouchTunes Promotes The Script’s #3 In 2008, three young men from Dublin who called themselves The Script took the music industry by storm with the release of their self-titled debut album. Skyrocketing to the top of the charts with "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" and “Breakeven,” the band’s first release debuted at #1 in Ireland and the UK. Their 2010 sophomore album, Science & Faith featured the hit singles "For The First Time" and "Nothing." This week, TouchTunes will promote The Script’s 3rd studio album, #3, at targeted locations nationwide. The new album is marked by The Script’s '#3 world tour', which has already sold over 100,000 tickets and includes a performance at Radio City Music Hall on the eve of the album's U.S. release. Three Days Grace Graces TouchTunes On October 2, 2012, Three Days Grace released their fourth studio album, Transit of Venus and this week the album’s lead single, "Chalk Outline," will be promoted on TouchTunes jukeboxes in North America. Formed in Ontario, Canada in 1992 under the band name 'Groundswell' and re-named later in 1997, Three Days Grace is unquestionably a defining act in the alternative/hard rock genre. In 2003, their platinum certified self-titled debut album was released and featured the smash hit song "I Hate Everything About You." Follow up releases including One-X and Life Starts Now produced the hit singles "Animal I Have Become" and "Break." Their latest album strives for a "tighter, more articulated sound," according to the band's drummer, Neil Sanderson, and has been met by positive critical reviews; ARTISTdirect calls Transit of Venus "nothing short of incredible."
