Jersey Shore Star Pauly D Ventures Into the Liquor Business

Paul DelVecchio, otherwise known as “DJ Pauly D” is following in the footsteps of other celebrities by launching his own alcohol brand, specifically flavored vodkas under the name Remix, according to TMZ.

DelVecchio has partnered with liquor industry professional David Kanbar, who is responsible for budding Skinnygirl Cocktails with "Real Housewives of New York" star Bethenny Frankel. Since Skinnygirl sold for a supposed $120 million, the expectations for Remix are high. According to the New York Post, DelVecchio debuted his line at the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of American convention in Las Vegas last month and is rumored to have sold more cases at the convention than Skinnygirl Cocktails sold in its first 18 months on the market. Looks like Kanbar knows his stuff.

Jersey Shore fans are sure to be excited about DelVecchio’s launch and may be even more excited if another cast mate enters the liquor market. Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, a Jersey Shore alum is the creator of the signature beverage of choice for the Seaside Heights crew before they head out to the clubs: Ron Ron Juice. If Kanbar considers partnering with both cast-members maybe Ron Ron Juice will be on the shelves next to Remix in time for Labor Day shore parties.

Ron Ron Juice Recipe

Ingredients:

• Vodka
• Cranberry juice
• Watermelon juice
• Maraschino cherries
• Ice

Directions:

Combine in a blender and serve in large red plastic cup. Fist pumping optional.
